Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo Finally Speak Out On Their Divorce, and It Is Not What Anyone Expected
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo just gave their fans something they have been begging for since the divorce news broke. Both of them spoke out on the same day, and neither one held back.
Jelly addressed it from a stage in front of a live crowd. Bunnie went even deeper on her own podcast.
Between the two of them, fans finally got real answers instead of internet noise, and one detail in particular has people doing a double-take. The couple is still planning to have a baby together.
So What Did Jelly Roll Actually Say

Jelly Roll picked the middle of a concert to set the record straight, telling the crowd he was not planning to bring it up that night but changed his mind once the subject of liars came up. He made it clear this was a one-time thing.
“It’s the only time, and the only city I’m gonna speak about this,” he told fans.
He shut down the cheating rumors immediately and firmly. “Nobody cheated on nobody,” he said, adding that the two of them had just gotten off the phone together earlier that same day.
He then pointed his fans directly to Bunnie’s podcast, telling them that every word she said is true. He closed things out with a message that sounded more like a tribute than a divorce statement, thanking her for ten years together and promising more friendship ahead.
“That will be my best friend forever. Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that,” he said.
Bunnie Broke It All the Way Down on Her Podcast
While Jelly kept his comments short and contained to one night, Bunnie used her platform to go deep. On the June 18 episode of Dumb Blonde, she walked listeners through exactly how things unraveled.
She said the entire divorce was settled in just two or three weeks, which, on its own, is wild given how long they were together. Then came the part nobody saw coming.
“We’re still having a baby together,” she said.
Bunnie made it clear that, despite the marriage ending, nothing about their bond had actually broken. “We’re going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn’t what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just we served our purpose for each other,” she explained.
The Mother’s Day Fight That Changed Everything
Bunnie traced the breaking point back to a single argument on Mother’s Day. She admitted she said something in anger that she now considers their one unbreakable rule.
“Well, then file the f—ing divorce papers,” she told him in the heat of the moment.
She packed a bag that same day and left. The two of them did not speak for weeks afterward, and during that silence, Jelly actually filed.
“He was so mad, and we were so emotional that he ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers,” she said. She admitted the divorce caught her off guard and was not a mutual decision. Bunnie also insisted that the split was not something they had planned together and that her words stemmed from frustration, not a real decision.
She still believes therapy could have saved things, though she respects that Jelly did not see it the same way.
A Baby Journey That Has Already Survived A Lot

The pregnancy plan did not appear out of nowhere. Bunnie has been open before about the toll their fertility journey took, including the loss of four embryos while the couple was both on hormones trying to conceive.
She described the experience as something that wrecked her “emotionally, spiritually, and physically”. In her memoir Stripped Down, released in February, she revealed they had already found a surrogate and that she was preparing to begin her IVF stims soon.
Bunnie said part of the settlement includes her moving into their shared compound once the baby arrives, so the child will be raised in a stable, familiar place with both parents involved.
“And J has been so f—ing great about us still having a baby together and he wants the same thing. And we’re just going to raise little Nugget as one big happy family,” she said.
And Yes, Jelly Is Already Back On The Market
Bunnie did not stop at the divorce details. She confirmed Jelly has officially started dating again, and she sounds genuinely thrilled about it. She even told her own audience to shoot their shot, joking that she would gladly play the role of a a supportive ex watching from the sidelines as long as whoever is it isnt a liar and a total “b***h”.
As for what she thinks he needs next, Bunnie kept it simple, describing someone sweet, grounded, and nothing like an influencer chasing clout. According to her, Jelly’s loking for the complete opposite of her.
What stands out most here is not the divorce itself. It is how two people choose to redefine what commitment looks like after the marriage part ends, proving that family does not always follow the script everyone expects.
