Amanda Batula and West Wilson just gave the internet exactly what it wanted, and it came in the form of a very deliberate grocery run.

The Summer House couple appeared to poke fun at swirling pregnancy speculation with a playful TikTok that leaned all the way into the joke rather than shying away from it.

Between the pickles, the ice cream, and the perfectly timed smirk, fans immediately understood what was going on.

Wilson, 31, posted the video to his TikTok on Tuesday, July 14, and it did not take long for it to make the rounds across Bravo fan pages. The clip shows Batula, 34, strolling through a grocery store wearing an oversized pink-and-white striped button-down shirt tucked into denim shorts, an outfit choice that fans quickly noted seemed intentionally roomy.

She heads first to the pickle aisle, where she loads three jars into the shopping basket Wilson appears to be holding for her, then makes her way to the freezer section for two large tubs of vanilla ice cream.

What makes the video so effective is exactly what it does not include: there is no caption or voiceover in the clip. Batula does not say a single word throughout the entire grocery run, but fans quickly picked up on the smirk on her face as she reached for two of the most notorious pregnancy cravings in one single trip.

The pairing of pickles and ice cream is such a well-known cultural shorthand for pregnancy that the joke landed almost instantly across the comments section.

Fans wasted no time reacting in real time, flooding the comments with a mix of amusement and appreciation for the couple’s willingness to embrace the speculation head-on.

“Omg lol not the pregnancy rage bait I’m deaddddd,” one commenter wrote, capturing the general reaction of viewers who found the timing almost too perfect.

Another fan chimed in with a similarly amused response, writing, “Don’t forget the prenatals,” essentially speaking for anyone who could not help but enjoy the bit despite any lingering drama surrounding the couple.

Wilson himself got in on the fun too, liking several of the comments reacting to the video, which only added to the lighthearted energy surrounding the whole post.

One commenter also referenced the couple’s earlier joint statement confirming their relationship, joking that “a joint ChatGPT statement would have been better” this time around, a nod to previous jokes about how polished their initial relationship announcement sounded.

Wilson liked that comment as well and responded with a reaction gif, keeping the tone playful rather than defensive.

How the Rumors Started

The pregnancy speculation did not come out of nowhere either, tracing back to a recent trip the couple took together to Wilson’s home state of Montana.

Batula and Wilson were spotted at a wedding in Big Fork, Montana, and shortly afterward, Batula shared a photo on her Instagram Stories wearing a flowy mint green dress while overlooking a pasture.

That single image was enough to send fans into speculation mode, with many pointing to her looser clothing choices in recent weeks as a possible sign of a pregnancy announcement in the works.

Once that theory gained traction online, it did not take long for fans to connect the dots and actively hunt for more clues.

The couple’s grocery store TikTok arrived just as that speculation was peaking, which is likely exactly why the timing of the pickles-and-ice-cream combination felt so pointed.

Rather than issuing a statement addressing the rumors directly, Batula and Wilson chose to let the video speak for itself, allowing fans to draw their own conclusions about whether it confirmed or denied anything.

Neither Batula nor Wilson has issued any kind of formal comment addressing whether they are actually expecting a child, and the playful nature of the video leaves plenty of room for interpretation either way.

Whether this ends up being a lighthearted troll or an unofficial soft launch of bigger news down the road, the couple certainly succeeded in getting everyone talking.

A Relationship Under the Bravo Microscope

This latest social media moment comes during an already complicated stretch for the couple, whose relationship has remained one of the most talked-about storylines in the Summer House universe.

Batula and Wilson confirmed they were officially dating back on March 31, following weeks of speculation among fans and cast members alike.

During the show’s Season 10 reunion, the two revealed more details about their timeline, sharing that they first kissed in February and did not become intimate until after they publicly acknowledged the relationship.

Their romance became a lightning rod for drama almost immediately, largely because Wilson previously dated fellow cast member Ciara Miller, who happens to be one of Batula’s close friends.

That dynamic created significant tension within the Summer House friend group, with fallout playing out on the show and on social media in the months that followed. Adding another layer to the story, Batula separated from her husband and longtime Summer House co-star, Kyle Cooke, in January after four years of marriage.

Cooke later spoke publicly about how difficult it has been to process Batula’s relationship with Wilson, given that he had previously considered Wilson a close friend.

The couple’s playful TikTok also arrives just weeks after news broke that neither Batula nor Wilson will be returning for Summer House Season 11.

Batula has been a fixture of the series since its premiere in 2017, becoming a series regular by Season 2, while Wilson joined the cast later in Season 8.

Season 11 is now filming without either of them, with a cast that includes Miller, Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon, KJ Dillard, Bailey Taylor, and Mia Calabrese.

Despite stepping away from the show that made their relationship a national talking point, Batula and Wilson do not appear to be shying away from public attention altogether.

If anything, this latest TikTok suggests the two are perfectly comfortable leaning into the chaos surrounding their love story, pickles, ice cream, and all. For now, fans will just have to keep watching and waiting to see whether this playful grocery run ends up being the whole joke or the first hint of something much bigger to come.
