Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been hospitalized and is in “critical but stable condition,” according to a statement from his spokesperson, Ted Goodman.
Goodman did not disclose the cause of Giuliani’s hospitalization or provide details about how long the 81-year-old has been receiving medical care. In a Sunday evening statement, he described Giuliani as “a fighter” and asked supporters to keep him in their prayers. “Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,” Goodman said, according to multiple reports. He added that Giuliani is facing the health challenge with the same strength he has shown throughout his public life.
